Addison's Corner Garage in Kiama

I bought $10 of ULP at $1.19 at Addison's Garage at Kiama. The no.7 pump stated that it had delivered 8.34l of petrol. My distance to empty prior to the purchase was 85km. My car has an economy rate of 6.1l/100km which means the 8.34l should have provided an additional 135km of travel to the 85km which meant I should now have a range of 220km. The display showed only 133km which means the pump had delivered only 3l of petrol. The assistant at the counter said that I would have to speak to the manager who would call me when he got back in thirty minutes. An hour and a half later I called the station and was told the manager hadn't returned. I hopped in my car and drove up there 60 seconds later and what a surprise the manager was in his office. The manager agreed that my car had an economy rate of 6.1l and that it wasn't possible for my car to have only 133km left. But he said that he couldn't give petrol away. I said that I had already paid for the petrol. He agreed but said that he would have to get someone out to look at the pump before considering anything and that I should leave my mobile number. All of this for $6 of petrol. What a garbage management style. Make it more trouble than it's worth for $6. There is absolutely no way I would ever use this petrol station again and will be spreading the word.
