Adelaide Wheel & Rim Works in Richmond
Adelaide Wheel & Rim Works
I bought my wheel in tuesday and I was then rung to say it was ready for pick up.
I explained to the receptionist that I wouldn't be able to get there until 4, she said this was fine as you shut at 4:30.
Anyway I got to your store at 4:05 and you were shut. Your door says opening hours til 4:15. I waited til 5pm before going home just incase someone ducked to the shop or something.
A phone call would have been polite, like "how far away are you?" not too hard I shouldn't think, obviously I am wrong though.
I came from across town twice Tuesday now and then had to come in again Wednesday to pick it up, I had to take the morning off work to make the special trip.
I went across the road to see if they had any numbers for you and they said no and told me to try calling over the fence, which I did, and they also mentioned that this incident has occurred many times before with other clients, being locked out before closing time.
Maybe opening hours don't matter you you, I don't know.
The first time I dropped it off for the repairs I didn't get overly fantastic customer service but I let it go and thought that maybe it was a bad day.
I felt bad when you called to say that you thoroughly checked it over to find nothing wrong, as I don't like to waste people's time and effort, but changed my mind after what happened Tuesday.
When I did return Wednesday I also got a lecture on how I must have mixed up the wheels...how can someone mix up a flat tyre with 3 pumped up tyres? No idea, but I managed to do it.
I used a lot of petrol, time and patience in all these back and forward trips.
Obviously I am not overly happy and won't be recommending you.
Thank you.
Ps I will add the man who bought my wheel to my car was very genuine, apologetic and nice.
