Appalling customer service!!
I accepted a quote for Chris to replace our fence, and waited 2 months for this to occur (due to lockdown). 4 days out from Chris arriving onsite, I received a call from him asking for our neighbours phone number and surname. I informed him that I didn't have this and would need to get it. Chris then proceeded to tell me that it is unusual for people not to provide this information and that my neighbour must be RETARDED for not doing so in the first place. I told him I was highly offended that he called my elderly neighbours retarded and said that language was inappropriate especially when it was just because they had omitted some information. There was no need for him to call them names just for that.
His exact response to my comment was "I don't know why you're offended, I could've called them a lot worse names".... He then proceeded to complain about having to work on a Sunday preparing invoices for customers, did not offer an apology, and because I told him his language was inappropriate and I didn't appreciate the name calling, he then proceeded to cancel the job.
It reminded me of a three year old throwing a tantrum. Or maybe he just woke up in a bad mood and decided to take it out on his customer. Either way, I certainly would not recommend Chris for any job purely based on his lack in customer service skills.
