Bushy's Dream Cottages in Margaret River

What a gorgeous little weatherboard cottage in a picturesque and tranquil setting! The cottage sits next to a larger home on a very pretty property with a lake/dam, just off Caves Road.

We stayed last week (January 2017) for 5 nights and were quite comfortable. We were attracted to the property because it is "doggy friendly" which was a great plus.

Everything was as advertised. There is no separate bathroom though - just a shower and separate toilet which are accessed off the kitchen.

The living room is downstairs and opens onto a delightful timber decked verandah overlooking the property. Bedroom is upstairs and gets very warm but there was an effective pedestal fan provided. There is nowhere other than outside on the covered al fresco deck to eat which was lovely in summer. A couple of nights were however too cool to sit outside so we had to eat inside off our laps...

The linen was all good, glassware and crockery fine. There is a microwave and a frypan provided plus a barbecue on the deck.

If you are seeking a total unwind and relax - this is a great place to do just that.

There is no phone signal strength inside the cottage. You need to walk up the driveway and stand under the trees to get minimal reception which was fine and we were able to email, etc from that position.

Definitely recommended!
