TERRIBLE SERVICE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, always DEMANDING payments but still don't deliver on time, WARRANTY procedures prevent faulty equipment from being fixed one month after purchase.
Operating a small cafe literally around the corner from CFM Sunshine I dealt with a sales rep named Nick. Even though purchases went through a building company I decided to personally visit CFM to get to let the company know who they are dealing with and build relations for future purchases. I have purchased over $40,000 of equipment have always made payments on time, and always promptly provided receipt numbers but so many issues arose.
Instead of a fridge and a freezer I received 2 freezers, this should not have happened in the first place as I had personally sat down with the sales rep to discuss what was needed. Also it took some time to amend, they accepted no responsibility for the fault, even though there was the most straight forward list including model names as well as prices.
Surprisingly, items were missing despite having all details emailed, face to face, as well as emails from third partys. Then more deposits had to be paid before they even arrange for amendment of the missing items. During the time period there was no calls or updates or emails about progress or delievery dates or anything. and on the day the item was expected I received not a word, i had to call at 1330 in the afternoon before they even told me my item was in and then pushed me for immediate payment for immediate delivery. Before I even had a chance to sit down they kept calling me to push payment, and after I had done so in 30-45 minutes, they did not even deliver the item until the next day.
Also the wok I purchased from them has become faulty, after a call on a monday they palmed me off to another company located on the other side of the city, in which they demanded credit card numbers before they would even mention a technician. What dont understand is, I made full payment promptly, the item is virtually brand new barely a month of use, and it has been 5 days and still no sight of a technician after following all their procedures on wednesday, but they still want my credit card number to charge me more for why. If it is genuinely faulty, fix it. If in a case I had tampered with it, then don't fix it, why charge me more for why? I contact the sales rep continuously as well as the warranty company and they say someone will call me back but nobody has called for 5 days, the wok is faulty and does not function therefore cannot be used to cook, much frustration, business and customers have been lost. I believe they don't care about the customer they only want your money.
I have also had a minor freezer water leak issue with them also, and it only took 4 days for them to send a technician for a small leak.
OVERALL; all company seems to care about is taking your money and giving you faulty items that will make it very difficult for you to fix, poor attention to detail will have you waiting weeks and paying more and more.
