Dirty South started as a concept around 2015 as a group of mates drifting together in Vic Drift events, called Dirty South Drift club. From tinkering in the home shed things grew rapidly and skills evolved to the point where a business needed to be created. In 2017 Danny registered the business name. 2017 also saw the first of the standalone harnesses being constructed for Lewis' blue S14 drift car. From there, word spread for like-minded drifters doing LS swaps and popularity grew. 2018 the idea sprung to life that this could be a viable business idea and planning began including the construction of the engine test stand.
