I've received many quotes from Rob at EUROLINK, though, when they forward me my Invoice, the $25 Quoted price, for eg., an 8 kg Parcel to Canberra becomes $25 + 10% GST + Fuel Levy (around 5%). For starters, the latter stinks as fuel has never been cheaper.
Do you buy a Hamburger for $7.50, only to be told that that does not include GST PLUS other Taxes? It is a wrought to hide the price gouging. ENOUGH!!

Late last year the Federal Government passed the Trade Practices Amendment (Clarity in Pricing) Act 2008. This Act inserts a new section 53C into the Trade Practices Act and requires quoted or advertised prices to be "all inclusive". The full text of the new Act can be found here.
