Face 2 Face Foundation
These people have no moral compass!
Five months ago on the 10th of July an employee of this company driving a company vehicle from work hit a car from behind at 100km/h while they were stationary, seriously injuring two young girls (8 & 10) and their mother. One girls skull was severely fractured and was fighting for her life for 10 days in ICU and much longer in hospital, and now has brain damage and other permanent injures. The other had her jaw snapped off and many teeth missing. She will have dentures until she is 21 and is already a special needs child.
Larissa and Chris Newton of Face 2 Face were contacted 3 weeks after the accident (while children still in hospital) to obtain their insurance information. Chris showed no empathy for the situation at all and refused to give his insurance information saying he felt no obligation to do so, and blamed the car for being stopped in front. Note their employee has now been charged for the accident where he hit them and smashed the car into 2 other vehicles including one directly in front of it. Chris had been informed at the time of the resulting injuries and that his car had hit the other from behind and the police said his vehicle was at fault. They then went on to withhold insurance information and finally admitted after much prodding that they had none. After which they ignored any communications about paying for the damages. A little later the police report stating the facts of the accident from CCTV footage, including several eye witness accounts was given to them. They still refused to pay for damages and said they were waiting for the police investigation to be finalised before making any decision, knowing full well that their vehicle was at fault, and the police report is focused on criminal charges against their employee. The police have now finished their investigation and charged their employee, and they are still refusing to communicate or pay damages.
After more than 5 months they finally said that were not going to accept any liability and that their employee had used the car outside of work hours. This was clearly just another excuse in a long line of excuses to avoid their responsibilities. The police report lists the purpose of travel as returning from work, and the passenger states they were travelling to one of face to face's houses. They are still supporting their employee despite having refused liability and tried to say he wasn't working at the time.
Their employee tried to blame the car in front for the accident immediately after it (while all the occupants were in hospital with life threatening injuries), saying they stopped there for no reason, and there were no cars in front of that car, despite him smashing the car into the one beside it and in front, and several witness saying the traffic was blocked with a line of 20-30 cars in front. He also complained about having to wait around after the accident while the youngest girl was fighting for her life in hospital. He was also contacted numerous times about insurance information and has not responded at all.
From their web page it says "Face 2 Face Foundations core values are: integrity, respect, persistence, and making a difference." It would seem they haven't taken the time to read their own value statement.
