Thumbs down. Will not be returning to your store at Booval.

Today, I was a customer there and was accosted by a staff member as I am unable to wear a mask due to medical condition.

I explained this to her but she then said she needed to sight my exemption or I will not be permitted to shop there. I was with my sister who also has the same severe breathing medical condition and struggles herself to wear a mask. We put one on for the purpose of the staff member but the entire time we were there started to get heart rate rising, couldnt breathe and clearly struggled.

QLD Health states that any one with respiratory problems is not required to wear a mask and a written exemption is not needed.

I felt that this staff member was then following us around the store keeping an eye on if we had masks on.
By the time we got to the register to pay for our items I was sweating, breathing was struggling and felt like fainting due to lack of breathing.

Will not be returning to your store due to the way was treated by the staff member.

I will also be reporting this as you cannot discrimanate against someone with a medical condition when they tell you that mask wearing can be life threatening to them.
