I signed up for a short term membership. For a variety of reasons I was not able to attend. I tried to resolve some issues with them directly and called more than multiple times. Every time I called no one could help me but everyone promised a return phone call. Needless to say the return phone calls never eventuated… Acceptable to a point however this was a period of about 8 weeks. Rather than address my issues / concerns they had collection agencies harass me repeatedly whilst ignoring my calls. The collection agencies then proceeded to add 100% to the bill. (Is this even legal anymore??)
I am still waiting for the other services the gym was supposed to provide (Weekly meal plans etc.). Strangely after another week of waiting I have given up hope. Beyond useless. Technically legally there was no contract as they didn't provide their side of the bargain. I paid to basically stop the harassment. On top of that their timetable is exceptionally limited (one spin class after work the entire week at 5.30 pm).
Seriously avoid the heartache and headaches go somewhere else…
