JS Flooring in Wangi Wangi

Five months after our floor laying was supposed to be finished, but isn’t, I think it’s fair to say that Jody's commitments can't be trusted. He ignores emails and SMS’s when it suits him, and his excuses always blame someone or something else. Jody was supposed to organize the levelling of the sub-floor (which his website says he will 'assist you' with prior to installation), and we were to pay for it. It was a shambles, and I ended up doing most of it myself because Jody's 'assistance' was limited to a few minutes making chalk marks on the concrete before he disappeared. He continues to insist the problems had nothing to do with him, and his amazing capacity for offering plausible excuses suggested to me that he's had more practice at making excuses than laying floors. Give him half a chance, and he'll tell you how hard he works. He DID work hard at our job - from time to time. But he would have had to work much less hard if he'd done things right in the first place. I find it's impossible to recommend him to anyone you like.
