We used Daniel for a house purchase. We would not use him again. We felt like he perhaps was too busy and juggling too many clients/responsibilities and on two occasions got us confused with another client. A lot of contact was via email, which at times is fine but sometimes when dealing with these things a phone conversation is the best way to communicate but he was very difficult to get on the phone. We have since had multiple advice (some from another conveyancing company) that our solicitor could have suggested and tried to get some money off the purchase price due to some issues that arose from the building report. Being first home buyers we were unaware and sort our solicitor for this advice but were told you don't want to "push it". We had to chase up for some things to be done which was timely. Lastly we were under the impression as was the real estate agent that we had in fact negotiated an earlier settlement as per our solicitor only to find out 3 days before this early settlement date that he had only negotiated this via email and didn't get it written into the contract and the vendor had now changed there mind. Daniel had totally forgotten about this and told me not to worry settlement isn't for another week! So of course he hadn't done the necessary paper work either. In the end we and the vendor exchanged phone numbers and sorted it out between ourselves, which again was time consuming considering we had paid for a service.
