Worst property managers I have ever come across.
Despite all the good practices their director, Michael Yardley preaches in his newsletters they do exactly the opposite!
Do not respond to questions made about properties advertised on domain.com.au or realeastate.com.au. Never return phone calls from tenants, do not conduct repairs promptly - if at all, do not organise to clean or maintain common areas of properties or mow lawns. Do not attend to plumbing leaks until you threaten them with legal action, allow fences to just fall down and block pathways, allow rubbish to collect on property and other OH&S hazards totally ignored. Do not paint or maintain insides of apartments and just leave paint peeling off walls even for units being advertised "For Lease".
When tenants get desperate and organise painting of their apartment - Metropole refuse to compensate them because work was not authorised. OMG!!!
Impossible to deal with these people. Michael Yardley should spend more time running his business and less time writing newsletters and property articles promoting the business.
Metropole are guaranteed to run your property down and minimise you rental returns. Tenants and landlords should stay well away!
