TD & LJ Reid Internal Lining Specialist Prompt Maintenance & Rectification in Lonsdale

Terrible! Their bad workmanship has cost me in excess of $9000 to rectify, after I paid them in full. Doesn't warrant the 1 star but the site gave me no option. TD & LJ Reid renovated a bathroom for me but did not grout the shower floor properly so left gaps & they filled with some silicone in some areas, leaving other holes open but all should have been grouted. The waterproofing emulsified, failed and water leaked through walls causing thousands in damage. A bathroom shouldn't leak for years or at all if done properly. I had to redo the whole shower and walls 2 years on. Laws protect people for at least 5 years so this is now under legal investigation. I gave the owner Tom at TD & LJ Reid the opportunity to view and rectify it. They didn't even bother go back to assess it. They also tiled around the mains tap in the bathroom, rendering it dysfunctional. An independent tradie said they should have their licence taken from them. They also bent pipework in the walls to retro fit, which reduced water pressure and also leaked eventually. In following up Tom, he followed me up with a letter from his lawyer, threatening me. Is this what people should have to put up with? Unconscionable conduct. It horrifies me that a lot of people (eg elderly, non english speaking etc) would feel threatened and be ripped off in such a way. TD & LJ Reid get most of their work from insurance companies.
